Eligible Banks
Updated July 1, 2010
Note: this list will continue to
be updated throughout the compliance period which ends June 15,
2010. If any attorneys or firms need to take any action
whatsoever, they will be contacted by the Foundation after this
date.
If you note an error, please contact the Foundation at 877-SC-IOLTA
or
via e-mail.
The Supreme Court of South Carolina
has amended the IOLTA rules to require SC attorneys to place their
IOLTA accounts at eligible institutions – those that pay interest
rates on IOLTA comparable to rates paid on similarly situated,
non-IOLTA accounts.

Other Eligible Financial Institutions
Eligible
Institutions are financial institutions that meet the standards of
the eligibility requirement as defined by IOLTA Rule 412. These
banks strengthen the IOLTA Program, thereby generating more funds to
advance justice.
If you would like to open an IOLTA account at a bank not on this
list,
please
ask that bank’s personnel to
contact us so that they may become an eligible IOLTA bank.
